Since the first Kidracers event at Watkins Glen International Raceway in 1988, thousands of children participated in hundreds of driving schools and races all over the USA using various cars. Now Kidracers are World Wide!
The All New Kidracer® design©, patented by former Can Am driver and SCCA 1970 National Champion Oscar Koveleski, is a result of those tests and experiences. Its designed to be race tough, look and drive like a real race car, and maintenance free! Just recharge the batteries after each use. Its 47 lbs. of real race car, with a 2 speed shifter, race quick steering, and fits in the back seat of most cars! Nothing else comes close! The Kidracer program teaches kids self confidence and how to be responsible to each other., says Oscar. Kidracers will be available at participating toy & department stores, and auto racing & parts dealers. |
The F5 is very maneuverable in small spaces, and for racing wheel to wheel with other drivers. The F5 features positive offset steering, plus ackerman steering, giving children a good feel of the steering and control of the car. These features are necessary to become a good driver. The F5 is the State Of The Art driving machine for kids. |

"How can you train pre-schoolers in the art and skills of precision driving if the vehicle is not up to it? After years of running hundreds of events and helping thousands of kids to Learn To Drive Before Age 5 in the first generation Kidracers, we had enough testing and experience to justify designing a totally new car and mass producing it at an affordable price. Nothing else comes close!" Oscar Koveleski |

The racing steering wheel features hand-hold grips in the proper position. Colored race flags are displayed on top of the wheel. The steering is quick. All designed to train the driver in the proper way.
The height/length of the steering wheel has a 2" adjustment. A thumbscrew locks it in place. The ON/OFF switches are on the right side of the dashboard and are easy to reach by the driver or an adult. A two-speed gearshift that allows speeds of 2.5 MPH or 5 MPH, and Forward/Reverse switches are all in one area. The two adjustable mirrors move In/Out &Up/Down, like those on real cars. |
| The form fitting bucket seat reduces fatigue and adjusts 4 3/4" to accommodate kids from 3 to 7. A thumbscrew locks the seat bracket in position. Seat belts are included so kids learn to use them. | ![]() |

The steering bolt (kingpin) is positioned inside the wheel to improve the steering geometry so the driver has more feel in the wheel and complete control in maneuvering left and right.
The steering design incorporates "Ackerman" geometry which causes the inside wheel to always follow the inside radius of the car's path in turns, thus reducing tire scrub and wear. |
| The batteries and charger are fitted under the seat, secured and made accessable through the removal of the cover and screws. Future upgrades can include the addition of two extra batteries. | ![]() |
